We invested in shipping materials that will have a low impact on our planet – compostable (BPI Certified) and water soluble non-GMO corn starch that is non-toxic and safe for soil, septic, and sewer systems and post-consumer cotton that can be bio-degrade within 1-5 months in a landfill.  

Non-toxic frozen gel packs that are drain safe and will not affect sewer or septic systems.

Disposal

Green Cell Foam is the most environmentally sustainable and functional packaging material available. Made from US-grown corn, Green Cell Foam is certified compostable in backyard and industrial facilities and can even be dissolved in a sink for safe and easy disposal. This unique material combines exceptional cushioning and thermal insulating protection, while protecting the planet. 

Tear the green film and pull out the Green Cell Plus (GC+)  foam panels. Recycle the film with other #4 plastics. Once the foam and film are separated, you’re able to dispose of GCF as you choose!

Nordic Drain Safe™ gel refrigerant packs are durable, reusable, and long-lasting poly gel packs. These packs offer the same performance as traditional gel packs with the added benefit of being 100% safe for disposal in a household drain.

Simply cut open the corner of the Nordic Drain Safe™ gel refrigerant pack. Pour it down the drain and then recycle the film.
